No idea what to suggest for your driveshaft problem,,,too many variables,,,but your e-brake cables are easy if you know how to mount your own cable ends,,,,,just take your stock harneses,,,and get some cable from an old comealong ( winch cable),,,or aircraft controll steel cable ( cheap) and cut your own to size,,,your cable strength will be way stronger.
Doing the ends is easy,,,and if you cant do it,,,get a mechanic friend to help out.

Unless you have a balancer and know how to index u-joints, it's probably just about as cheap to have a new driveshaft made, and you have new, reliable u-joints and yokes.
For the e-brake, pick up just about any floor-mounted handle and fab new cables. You can get suitable wire rope from any big-box store like Home Depot. Plain cables are a bit harder to route than the enclosed cables you see in the magazines.
Another good source for cables, especially if you go sheathed are marine supply stores. Sometimes marine repair facilities will know the folks in town who've got the equipment to swage the ends on custom cables.
