Frame Help!!!
I have a 1923 Dodge Brothers Roadster. It has a home made frame under it, that came with the car. Im a little worried about the frame.... its crappy. I have the blueprints for a T-bucket frame from California Customs. I think this frame will work for my 23. I just dont know. I know that the Dodge is longer than a Ford in the rear, due to the deck lid in the rear. Does anyone know if this frame will work?? And my other question is my motor. I have a 241 hemi and I was told it sits on some free float motor mount. If this is so how would i make this work on the frame??? I have the parts but not enough knowledge.... but Im trying to learn . If anyone can help me please do so .......... HELP!!!Freedom isnt Free

hey a 23 dodge is a cool unit
in regards to your frame, i am in the process of building a frame from scratch for a t . the hemi motor is pretty heavy even one of the old mini hemis i am putting in a olds 455
i would use your t bucket blue prints for a ball park guide and build from there and look at your old frame mounts and old frame design etc but what are they telling you to use for frame rail size in the blue prints. i am using 1.25 wall 2x 4 and was even going to use 3/16 wall to be safe . no fun to have a sagged frame

True my Hemi weighs no where near as much as that 455. The frame I have now the body is just chanelled down on it and welded to the frame. So Im going to have to make mounts myself. I allready have the rear coil overs done on the rear section of what should be the frame. Im just going to canabalize the old frame for the rear section that is allready made for the car and weld it into the new frame. As for my rear end, I want to find an older rear end out of some sort of 50s chevy. How do I go about knowing the age of a GM axle? The one I have I was told is out of a 60s Buick Wildcat.Freedom isnt Free

California Customs
I have been trying to purchase the blue prints from California Customs for about a week now but nobody seems to answer the phone.
Are they gone?

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
