I also think on a street driven hot rod a one wheeler is just fine, unless you are wanting to beat on it from a dead stop. Limited slip, posi, etc rear ends MAY cause strange handling issues on a short wheelbase, light car, like wanting to make the car go straight on hard turns, like offramps. Not always, but sometimes. It seems to happen if you apply some power while making that turn, the rear "locks up" and both wheels want to go straight ahead.

That being said, I am running 4:30 Trac-loc gears in my 27 because I do intend on beating on this one a bit. (ok, A LOT! )
