C9X Thanks a lot, great pictures and superb worksmanship. I would do exactly what you have done, but I'm a big fat old guy (260lbs) and about 5'-7", in a roadster pickup. This is about the equivalent of a hippo in a urinal, so I need the tilt steering. I think that I have figured out how to do this, working with what I've got. I haven't actually got to the stage where I am doing anything with the column yet, just throwing out feelers for suggestions. I just finished all the friggery involved with the rad-grillshell-hood bracket-electric fan scenario this weekend, so will be moving on to the steering column this coming week. I will post pictures as this evolves.
