I was looking through Eastwood and saw their kit with some rust encapsulator and spray can frame paint and was wondering if anyone knows if this stuff works real well and looks really good? I am thinking of going with this instead of using my spray gun and painting it with expensive paint, etc to save money. Does it chip easily or anything or what? I have a coat of primer on the frame already that the guy I bought it from put on already so I am sure that will help. Also when I put my new floors in and trunk floors what should I use to seal it all off from rusting underneath and inside the car?
 Thanks for any help.

ya know what I used, rustolum hamered finish epoxy paint, spray can type, looks ok but, I painted right over the rust to see if it would live up to the label, I'm gonna sand it down and repaint it next year when I pull it out of storage. If I noticed it starting to rust when I pull it out, I'll know if it lived up to the lable. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

It goes down well, it looks like a hammered finish, sorta like cast iron but not as intensive and it's shiney. You can buy it at walmart in quart cans or in spray cans. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Alright sweet. This stuff on Eastwood is only like 12 bucks a can and it says 3-5 cans for a whole frame. I will see what others have to say on this stuff first...www.streamlineautocare.com
