Need a little more input than that Rich. Well, I wouldn't want it any other way! Maybe I will go with fuel injected 350 Banks twin turbo....... A bitch? Yea. Worth it? Maybe. I'm going to check into it.
Do I want to add a computer to a car that doen't require one?
Big decision....

Transdapt has motor mounts: Part #4195 Motor Mounts, Engine Swap Kit, Steel, 1958-Up Chevy Small Block/Big Block Engine Into 1955-57 Chevy, Belair.
Speedway has motormounts and a transmission mount also. Search their site.
The rear axle and springs are a little anemic for this kind of torque. There are kits - Currie, for example.
Thank you Jack. I see that one of my problems is going to be with the steering linkage . These kits don't like power steering or a/c, probably not enough room. I'm looking into it.
Thanks Again!!
Change it to a power rack & pinion. You can re-route the steering column like we do in street rods. Some DD shaft and some Borgeson u-joints.
