I should have been more clear with my response. I wasn't responding to your post, but to JIPJOBs.

I have been in the same situation when I asked about a car. When it became obvious that he didn't build it, I didn't press the issue because a) I wasn't going to learn anything, and b) he was going to be embarassed.

I'm with Streets, though. Claiming someone else's work as your own is unforgivable. When I was in the machine design business, I had a potential client ask for a presentation on a machine for his plant. He declined our bid. A year later on a visit to look at another possible project, I found OUR machine design in service.
