A little side note for you Robert. The company that manufactured those brakes, Houdaille, supplied shock absorbers for Fords made through the '30s and '40s

Those louvers are fantastic. Prepping, painting, and polishing them...………...that's another matter. Fortunately not yours.....:)

The bit of extra effort to use a nicely molded hose instead of any of those ugly ribbed (rubber or stainless) alternatives is well worth it. As we expect of you Robert.....nice work.
