    almost sounds like something is restricting the exhaust flow, how small are your headers? how big is your collector how big is your exhaust.

    Im also a v8 fiero guy, but not to the extreme as the 454. im running a sbc. And i had same issue as you. What i suggest to you, get rid of mechanical fuel pump, run a in tank pump, reroute the lines...
