I don't do any iron heads for racing...
I don't do any iron heads for racing anymore--they are too heavy====and besides any performance you might gain there is the added advantage of taking static weight off the car-

Well actually---------------use a 454 crank and pistons, get rods that are .400 long (fairly common part), there are manifolds made(Dart) for the tall deck motors except if you want to maybe run dual...
