I don't think that hiding the swoop is the approach to take. Going to larger diameter front wheels (and overall taller tire) may help the with the visuals of the swoop.

The body looks nice. If it were me, I would take some of the swoop out of the front of the frame.

on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
