Here's the latest pic s of my bug. I swapped the trailng arms side to side to un-camber the rear. Now the tires rub the fenders though. Gonna have to widen the rear fenders a tiny bit.

Not exactly a "Rat Rod", either one of them, but this is vwfye's Notchback, and my Oval sunroof, together about 1/8 mile from my house...
His has a 1904 cc engine, mine is a 2017 with Weber 48 IDA carbs and a bunch of other go-fast stuff...Last edited by 26Tudor; 01-28-2008 at 03:02 PM.

Walt, I am not going to make it. if I have the time, I don't have the $$, and if I have the $$, I don't have the time.
I've about the the cooling and electrical figured out, with the misaligned pulleys, and etc, so the next problem-solving area will be the steering.. I think I'm going to be using an old Oval sterring column tube, it's straight, no extra crap on it, and fits the T wheel fairly well...
So, you gonna sell Titus your son's pickemup?

No worries, Brian, thanks for the help, regardless.... finding stuff up here isn't as easy as you might originally think...
I'm in no hurry for the hose, I still have the water pump, pulleys, radiator, and shell off the car while I figure out how to make everything line up, work, and not interfere with other parts...

I'm a new guy but I enjoy the Volksrod style. I'm collecting parts for one right now. Should be a pretty cheap ride that will be somewhat different from the crowd.
