That car was built a few years ago by Ian Roussle out in cali. He just did a shoebox ford that is way chopped, but the paint is awsome. Ill see if i can find some pics. Ian builds some outlandish rides, but he is very creative, and a really good metal fabricator.

Not quite sure what that is but I don't consider that a Rat Rod more of a Cartoon car.Livin' on Route 66

looks a little over the top to me, like a movie car, nice fab work.
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
