There are lots of "Laws" but do they inforce them? Here in Ca there has been a fender law since Jan 1 1971. Any car registered prior to 71 (no matter what year auto) so long as it is under 1500 lbs (what car is under 1500 lbs???) it doesn't need fenders. But there are THOUSANDS of cars including my brothers roadster with no fenders that NEVER get stopped for it. So the law may be there but they are at least realisitic about inforcing it.

Yup, 52's look good when you can drop it down to less than 5" from the ground. Mine is about 5" off the ground.
