My 53/54 Lincoln
Hey whats up guys, new to the forum. I just purchased this Lincoln this past weekend. Me and my friends got it running after repleacing all hoses, plugs, gas tank and fuel pump and all wiring. It needs a new carburator and it should be running nicely. I plan to rat it out, satin black, white walls with some nice pin striping. Not sure on the colors yet though. We are also unsure if it is a 1953 or 1954, the old man we got it from said it was a 53 but that the engine in it only came in the 54's.

Hey there, Bad. That's not a bad looking Lincoln and it appears to be a 53. As for the motor in the Lincoln, you might want to know that Lincoln went to overhead valve motors in 1952 and the same cube motor was in the 52,53, and 54. (317 cu inches) Just for your info. :) :)

Oh, and I forgot, there should be a data plate on the back side of the Glove box door with the info on the car. ;)

Thanks for the info fordman! I'll check it out. I'll also post more pics this weekend. Thanks for the comments.

cool ride man, are you going with paint or primer?

Ah so it's a '53 ;)
Yeah i'm planning to do some minor bodywork that it needs then shoot a satin black primer over it.
