Dave,

Nobody knows what a rat rod is. Horsepower TV is building a "rat," but the only thing on it that's even mildly ratty is the body. They used a complete P&J frame with a Super Bell axle, chrome coil overs, chrome hairpins, disk brakes, P&J ladder bars and panhard bars, Vega box, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Standard street rod so far.

I figured it out ,...R A T,its not a word its an abbreviation...Recycled Automotive Transportation,......except they forgot to recycle this 1.:whacked:

That coupe is not a rat rod, regardless of what the owner wants to call it. That is a very nice traditional hot rod.

That 5W is a nice car. Would be better in gloss black or something and would be a 40's styled car I guess with the wheels on it.... Looks like a nicely put together hot rod though if you ask me.

Jack/Henry, is that a horn dangling from the dropped headlight bar? If so how did you get it to fit in between the radiator shell and the fender?

thats what i called em when i was a kid
and it's what i call em now.
if i had a lot of money or any metal working skills
i'd be driving a beautiful car.
