After good progress on chassis, engine, trans and rear, I paid the full amount for a Bebops '29 roadster and it arrived in July of 2005. I tried to get all I would need in terms of door handles, deck lid handle and rumble version of deck lid. However I forget to order the little tabs that hold the main top bow which could have been welded in at the Bebops site, more about that later. In addition, the '29 body turned out to be a pretty faithful copy of a '29 metal body except for a reinforcing web between the front frame horns. I was especially pleased with the good fit of the doors. The main problem turned out to be that the body molds were for a flat frame but I had the Brookville frame with the rear kickup! We will see later in these pictures that cold weather and this problem with the floor slowed the project down from about December until March of 2006.
