I used crank and alternator pulleys from a SBF and the lower bracket is a stock ford dated 1970. Top alternator hole is supported by the engine plate and a steel spacer, 0.115" at the alternator, extending to one of the engine plate mounting holes.· Date: · Views: 7,024

Nice work,
I am having a problem with finding a alternator bracket for my 460 bbf. I have a csi electric pump, no ac or power steering. I will post pictures. Any infro will be appreciated.

Thanks for the compliment. Fortunately I have a bunch of misc. spare parts that we have collected over the years. Generally I just scrounge through my parts until I can find something that works and then modify it if needed. Before I decided to use a front engine plate I purchased a set of alternator brackets 'used' off of E-bay and the spacers you see on the bottom bolt are from those brackets. I thinkg I paid $10 or $15 for the set.

That's a neat setup for alternators. How bout alternators brackets? Do you have any spare of those?? Thanks.
