For anyone thinking about building a frame from scratch this is how I did it. Layout outside edge of frame on your garage floor,make any changes that you want to, I made the rear portion of the frame parrall just behind the cab,to acomidate bigger tires. paint those lines with clear upsidedown paint so they dont go away! from there mock up your fenders and establish your wheel centerlines, then put the biggest anchors you can find in your garage floor and extend them with all thread, to some 2"x2" square tube to establish your ride height. Then build away. this worked better than I could have expected. the frame is within 1/16" from corner to corner and perfectly flat from front to back. (Criss cross dental floss, I finally found a good use for that stuff! )Make sure to center punch the frame rails while they are next to eachother for refrence marks . Good Luck! D.R.
