You will need the correct starter to go with the flexplate/tranny your using, and the spacer plate that goes between the block and tranny (this plate also indexes the starter).

There is also usually a reinforcing ring that sandwiches between flexplate bolts and flexplate to help prevent the flexplate from cracking aroung the bolt holes.

You may be able to modify your original kickdown linkage, but it may be easier to use the one thats supposed to be on the tranny.

I beleive the tranny yolk is different, and the drive shaft may not be the right legnth.

Finally you may have to do some crossmember modifications.
