Parts Wanted

Looking for auto trans for small block chevy (late model overdive) will consider swaping a 78 Pontiac 4-speed or ?

i got a 400th that has been rebuilt by GM i will trade less than 10,000 miles on it

I WANT HAVE IT TILL DECEMBER THE 18TH PROBLY CAUSE I CANT GO GET IT UNTIL THEN

Dan, a TH400 will not fit my car without a frame modification... I think a TH700-R4 or a TH350 will fit up to the current transmission mount.

You might want to look at the chart pictured in this thread. The 700r4 and TH350 are different from one another, and the 700 is bigger all around.
