Got scammed from a engine builder for 10k of money and parts, so after 6 years of depression, I'm now wanting to build another motor for my 427 Cobra replica. I can not afford 15k (+) for a typical new finished low powered Side Oiler.

I had a nice 428 FE, and may have to stay with this inch engine, because of the Side Oiler cost. Looking to hopefully,....get 600 HP/TQ.

    We'll see.

Parts and build, he has done dozens of FE engines for the local SAAC group (yes, we are more anal than the Cobra group ), my own 428CJ in my 69 GT500 included. Don't piece meal an engine together, get it done right the first time and you won't fall in to the same mess you did with your last engine builder.

600HP in a Cobra replica makes the car useless on the street, stop getting wrapped up like a newbie to the scene, you have been around longer than that and should know better.

    I'll leave it at that
