Late 1930s front & real bumpers wanted
i own a replica of mid-l930s Mercedes 540k roadster. I want to replace the existing 5'6" wide tube bumpers with either chrome or stainless. I particularly like both the 1939-1940 Lincoln Continental/Mercury convertible and 1938-39 Mercedes 540k roadster/phaeton bumpers [both are solid metal, the main difference being the Lincoln/Mercury bumpers have a license plate cutout. I would be interested in any bumper late 1930s [both the Lincoln and MBZ bumpers taper at each end to a point].
Thanks,
Retroguy

well I decided to do another mod to gain max travel of bars past the intended travel points just for that peace of mind. 1/8 inch is to close so now I'll have 1/2" or better. I cut a 3/16" wall...
