I went and did a little research on the 37 LaSalle. It looks like ALL of the glass in it is flat glass. If that is correct, there is really no reason to seek out Caddy glass. All of it can be cut by your local Glass Shop. It would need to be laminated safety glass, but thats nothing special really and any well equiped Glass Shop will be able to furnish it and cut it to your pattern. The secret is making good patterns, but a car guy will be able to do that. Good Luck

I agree with Hombre 100% - a good local glass shop can cut flat auto glass, polish the edges and have you fixed up with no problem. One tip is to make your patterns from a good rigid material, like masonite or tempered masonite, and lable them inside/outside, top/bottom to keep any glass ID info right side up and outside. I had one cut years back and ended up with a faint PPG logo upside down on the back top corner - not a big deal, but why???:whacked:
37 caddy your caddys front windshield lokks alot like like my 36 chevy. which is a two pieces of glass with a divider in between. i went to the local glass shop with patterns and it ran about 275 for 7 pieces of glass. and the man at the glass shop told me that if i left my car with him he would install the front windshield without the divider and butt the two pieces together. how he did it i have no idea, but it looks great. jonathan oh an i had to go back an get another door window because of a pop rivet head that was in the wrong place.;)
I was hoping to find a glass company who already has the patterns. I am trying to make a deadline and can't put anything else on my to-do list.
