The $43 is actually a good price if your in the US, paying with US money. My problem is I am looking at the exchange rate of over 30% plus the banks fees for the exchange, plus the $30 US freight that the ebayer wants to charge to ship it to me. Then there is the duty's and taxes, Canada customs may hit me for. Works out to over $100...

If I buy from a private individual, even in the US, and they write "gift, value under $60" on the customs sticker, there is no taxes or duty, and I am sure it can be USPS mailed for less than $30. (I think a lot of ebayers are making profit in thier shipping fees.)

Thanks for the explanation. I didn't notice you live in BC before I made the comment. There are many challenges for those of us building cars in the U.S. It's difficult to imagine the even greater challenges for you guys building American cars in other parts of the world. I hope you can figure something out to get your bracket at a reasonable price.
