I bought these seats from JC Whitney. Yes they are generic, but the width was perfect for the narrow coupe interior. They were also black "pleather" which I was looking for. I just re-mounted the seat gliders that came off of the old AMC Javlin high back buckets (man were they ugly.) I must have looked for a year for a set of '61-'64 Thunderbird or Mustang seats, all I found was eiether junk or somebody wanting to get rich off of some extra parts. These seats were very inexpensive and are built very well. If you need extra lumbar support for your back, I do not suggest you get these seats. As you can see in the pic I had to get the blue lumbar pad for my 5 hour drive one way to Pontiac, MI. for the Woodward Dream cruise. With the lumbar pad the seats were great.
