www.chevsofthe40s.com has the laser cut stainless.. they also keep an invintory of used/ NOS stuff. call or email them and they may have an original to sellYou don't know what you've got til it's gone

have call everyone listed above, chevs of the 40's, I&I, superior glass, no one has any!! apprently there is only one guy making the stainless steel repro grills for the '39 chevys, had some type of production problem, & there won't be any for a few months. I had just planned on getting one when I was finishing up my 39 (I am putting together now!!), so that I would not have another part sitting around taking up room. I really didn't want to put to orginial back in ( I just paintedit body color since chorme was bad), since taking it out to put a stainless one in, just leaves more chances for scratched paint!! but since the nats, so close , I may have too!
