    im looking for a set of axles from a 67 comet with a 289 8" rear.....dont laugh

    not postive ,but think the 67,8 mustang will fit.they will both be 28 spline.

    1966-1969 Fairlaine/ Comet/ Torino 289 8" rear should all be the same.. that might narrow your searches

    Matt, I was also going to consider saying Maverick. I belive they were approx; two inches shorter....Maybe my old age, worth considering possibly.
    What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

    that may be correct. there 57" from side to side I think. I kno the granada is 57 1/2", and I kno the mav rear is just a wee bit shorter
