A bbc flywheel will solve the flywheel problem.
BBC Flywheel won't work. It got too much weight and will vibrate. The best way is buy a balance plate that goes between the crankshaft and flywheel.
That's odd, I ran one behind a 400sbc in a '62 pickup for a couple of years and never had a bit of problem.Quote:

i have a 400 aluminum flywheel, hayes clutch and pressure plate
and a lakewood blow proof bell housing like new. used vey little.
