Does anyone have any laying around that you want too part with? I looked at the swap meet today, one pair and the guy wanted $500 for them, too pricey for me, i offered $300, i think that is reasonable considering the condition, let me know if ya got some and we will make a deal,

Used to know where there was a pair, I'll check with the guy next week. Someplace in the back of the warehouse I have the molds for "cruiser skirts" if you know what they are.... The big long ones that cover most of the lower quarter panel. I could probably come up with a picture if you would be interested....Quote:

You're about 44 years too late. My first car was a '51 Merc tudor. The VERY first thing I did before driving it home was remove the original skirts...............who wanted to look like an old man!!!
Oh, BTW, paid $125 for the whole car............rust free, So Cal car, cherry original interior, recent rebuilt engine, good tires, brakes, paint, yada yada............just a good ol' 11 year old used car.:LOL:
I'll dig out the molds some day when I am out at the warehouse, might have a pair there I could try on one of my Mercs and get some pics for you. I'm sure the molds are going to need more work, then I'll have to figure out some form of attachment to the car.... But yeah, if I get it done I could certainly make a few sets extra. Up to my-------elbows in work right now, but I'll get at it eventually....Quote:
