i was thinking i want a 4spd in my 68 olds cutlass i am looking for olds belhousing and also a chevell belhousing because there is a small block chevy going in it right now untill the olds motor is done

I don't know if this would work for you. I have a bell housing and 4 speed that was behind a 6.2 diesel in a 82 truck. The transmission kicks out of 3rd gear like a bunch of those do. The tranny shop says it isn't worth anything to them. I bought a new TH-400 instead. You can have the bell housing if you want it. You can have the tranny too but it probably isn't worth shipping the heavy thing. You pay shipping. I'm in southern Ohio. ...if you can't find the stuff you need closer to home. I'm no mechanic, but the bell housing might work?
