    For your Stude?
    Tell us about it...
Dave levesque has a 9" set up for a Stude on Ebay right now, but it is not that narrow...

There is a place in east central Illinois that will sell you a 9" Ford housing narrowed to your spec's..with axles and bearings and calipers and mount brakets for right under $600... All you need to do is set your pinion angle and weld in your spring perches...

I would have answered you earlier but I kept getting these pesky pop ups from clubchopper?? Anyway, Brent Mills fixed that.
I can send you pictures of my Stude from my email account to yours. I still dont know how to post pictures on this site ( new computer user ) My Stude is a 53 coupe, painted all black. It has a GM clip for a front suspension and a Ford 351-W with AOD trans.
    Now thats a unique combination!
The current rear is a 8 inch Ford with 3:89 gears.
I bought the car this way last year from California. I was trying to find some history on the car but so far no luck.
I wanted a narrow rear so I could still use the 245-60-15 tires. My current rear measures just 51 inches from backing plate to backing plate. I wanted to upgrade because future plans call for a 392 Hemi...if I can find one at a decent price.
By the way, I could sure use a " tune -up " by your mechanic!!
