trying to find a 12 port wayne head and injectors for a 302 gm,
I have no more hard feelings and hope you don't. I'll try to help you in your search for a Wayne 12-port, though even if you do find one, I suspect it's gonna cost quite a few more sheckles than you might have thought. These guys will be a good starting point....

Here are some very nice photos of a 50's roundy-round car with a Wayne-equipped six........

gasser, are you familiar with the process of cutting up small block chevy heads into sections and then brazing them back together to fit a Chevy inline block? Drag racers used to do this back in the 70's as I remember. Of course, they didn't have to flow water through them either, just for drags. Wouldn't work on the street unless you re-figured it to pass water. It might be even easier today with the advent of aluminum heads. They're gettin' pretty cheap. Whatta ya think?
i have never heard cutting a small block head to fit a inline six , my friend terry is dead set on a wayne head and i think willing to spend the money, the car its going in ,scratch that its already in is a 46 ply convert . i will post pictures as soon as i get them scanedQuote:

Have you checked with John Eichenger there in Aberdeen??? He usually has a line on almost anything involved with old engines and hot rods... There was an older machinist there in town, can't remember his name right now, but he used to work in one of the old shops downtown. At one time he had a lot of old six cylinder parts laying around..... If you don't have any luck there, you might try either Jim Haney or Roger Swenson down in Watertown. If any of the old six parts are around, they would know where they are....
Well, there you go. Head, rockers and studs will polish off a five thousand dollar bill. Thanks for finding this Matt. :)Quote:
