Wondering if anyone might have a rear sump pan and pickup for a Ford 351W they would like to part with for a reasonable price? Putting the engine in an '86 Camaro, need the rear sump/short front sump to clear the chebbie crossmember. Thanks

aught to put that 351 in a '68 Camero and really make the Chevy guys mad. I'll keep an eye out for anything for sale involving 351 parts, and see if anything pops up.
Ford engine in a Chevy:eek:  . I guess 1 in a million aint bad**) Way to go Dave
I would like to see some pics of that swap and I am going to put a 302 ford in my 37 chevy p/u when I get some other projects done, that looks like it would be harder then what I am going to do. Jeff
Shouldn't be too bad of a swap. Did some measuring, looks like the oil pan is the only obstacle.... Probably have to use one of the Fox body pans with a mod or two, maybe a tweak here or there on the crossmember.

In a goodguys magazine, there was an orange '51 Chevy 2dr powered by a 302/ AOD, probably fit better than a SBC, there narrower blocks and I know with an SBC, u need to move the steering box over and relocate the parking brake.
Good bout time them chevy boys feel what its like to see the enemies motor when u pop the hood!!!!
Well, thanks for all the encouragement. Got a great deal on a dual sump pan with a low front on eBay, should be here next week some time. Hey, anybody want a great deal on a 305 and a bunch of other chebbie parts I won't be using???
Now look what you've done............you're gonna start a trend here.:D :D :D :D
I swapped the 5.0 into my Jeep truck, and it entailed a little moving around of stuff, but now looks like it grew there.
Chalk one more up for the Blue Oval.
Don
Geez, I hope so Don!!!! Now all I need to do is replace the pistons in my old stroker engine and start fitting some pieces.... Should be a fun one....
