    454 block

     



    does anyone have a 454 big block chevy block they are looking to sell reasonbly priced?

    i have two 454 blocks can be machined ready to put together or i can short block up to a 512 if you want what is reasondly priced ? they are getting hard to find

    i just need a 454 block to make my 427 out of... i willing to spend 300-400 bucks on one

    make your 427 out of what ?? do you mean you have a 427 car and are putting a 454 into it?

    I think he's planning to drop a 427 crank (3.760" stroke) into a 454 block to make a 427 big block motor. I doubt if there was much difference between a 427 block and a 454 block, but just try finding a virgin 427 block nowadays.

    i can sell you one for 350. been hot tank and check for cracks can be deck bored and hone with plug s and cam bearing put in as well if you need that.i have a engine machine shop look at add in parts for sale on here . 454 mark 4. thats the block i have for 350.

    454 bb CHEV BLOCK

    yep hard to find a good 427 and 454s blocks are not to far behind i am just finshing up on a roller 427 i built using the 289 casting block

    was just curious but this guy out my way has a ton of big block chevy stuff heads and blocks mostly 427 chevys. His website I believe is vintagebigblocks.com
