POWER FLITE SHIFTER pushbutton
Hi,
I am looking to find a complete shifter unit from a 1956 Dodge Chrysler or Plymouth car or truck with a 2 speed automatic POWERFLITE transmission. I would be interested all or some of the following parts: the shifter mechanism, the cover or "finish" plate, shifyer housing or "pod",
shifter buttons ( 4 in total N D L R ) and control cable.
This unit was available in 1955-56-57 and 58. I can supply photos in necessary. Please inform me of any availability and cost. Thank you.
Best regards,

If using stock oil pan the capacity is 4 quarts plus 1 for the filter. Five quarts is pretty standard for initial fill. Don't overfill as the crankshaft hitting the oil reservoir will cause foaming...
