I hear ya. I was looking at that as well on mine and I hear they are pretty hard to chop on a 48 but if you go an inch or less I hear that not much is needed but if your gonna chop then why in the heck will you do less than an inch? I have some sweet pics of a chopped 48 with pie cut hood like I want, the fenders are reshaped, etc. It looks really sweet.
