    powerglide

$125 you pick it up. Comes with kickdown linkage and torque converter (which I'm sure would be useless for racing). It came in a hot rod project I bought and I decided to go with a TH350. Had clean good looking fluid come out of it when I took it out. Located just north of Columbus, OH.

Got a complete sb 305 motor also, might or might not need a rebuild. for $100 Turns free.

    powerglide

that's cool...If you plan on gutting a 350 motor when you get it you might consider my other stuff also:

bare 350 block (new cam bearings and freeze plugs) was honed, but has since got some surface rust on the cylinders, just needs another hone and some steel wool work.
    $50

    Heads 462624 (2.02 intake, 1.6 exhaust, 76cc chamber) bare $75
    heads 333882 (1.94 intake, 1.5 exhaust, 76cc chamber) bare $65

Used connecting rods and pistons, set of 8 $40

used crank, never been turned as far as I know (standard) $45

Truthfully, if you could get down here before thursday to pay and pick up, you could have the powerglide, the 305, and all the stuff mentioned above for $380. I'm moving soon and don't want to haul it to the swap meet next weekend to get rid of all of it. Offer is extended to anybody else out there also. Be a hell of a start to have get a couple of motors going one as a backup.

    block

Block- the 350 block should be standard 4" bore. I can throw a caliper on it this afternoon, but I'm pretty sure it was just ridge reemed and honed. I got it as a back up from a friend of a friend. The 462624 heads would be pretty good standard heads for a more performance oriented build. They have bigger valves. I could include a set of used valves and some .510 lift valve springs. The springs were only ran for 5 races.

If you plan on coming to pick all this stuff up, I can tell you that we are about 3 hours from Detriot. The shipping thing would get complicated, as I don't have the time to crate anything or ship it. I'm in the middle of a move. If you want me to send further details or pics of any of this stuff, email me at jlageman13@aol.com

It all needs to be gone before this thursday, because on thursday it is getting taken to the swap meet. Just let me know.

I just mapquested Flint from where the stuff is in Lewis Center, OH. It's a 3.75 hour drive. Not too bad.

I have no methods of shipping these things. I would imagine that they would have to be crated, then picked up by a carrier. I have no woodworking tools or time to crate them. Then if I did, contracting a carrier for these items to be picked up and dropped off at a residence would be pricey beyond the cost of materials for crating. You'd probably be looking at $300+ by the end of it. It would be much cheaper to just come get the stuff.

Also, the reason the prices are low are as a convienience to me. I need the stuff gone pronto before thursday. I can't be messing with building crates and scheduling carrier pickups, while in the middle of a move and still trying to go to work. It's just not feasible to do.

You might consider having somebody that lives between or near me pick it up and then relay it to you.

If you want this stuff you're just going to have to pick it up. I just can't help you anymore other than offering it as available for cheap right now. sorry. If you change your mind and decide to make the 7.5 hour round trip then let me know. In any event good luck with your endevor.
