    Dinged US Mailbox

     



    I want a busted up(but not too busted) dinged/rusted out US mailbox to fit the air filter in on my A's air intake...
    Surely someone on here has one thats sitting gathering dust in the garage or somewhere???

    any help appreciated..

    I spent 3 hours welding, straightening, sanding and painting
    the mail box in front of my house then found out I could of
    bought a NEW one for $15.00 at the local hardware store!!
    You should check before spending time on a old one!
    TEAMWORK is essential, it allows you to blame someone else!

    I hear ya randy..Unfortunately, i'm livin in the UK now, and we dont got anywhere that sells mailboxes...
    Ideally i want a dinged one so that i can modify it for the air filter mount on the new carb.. busted up so's its got a lil patina..

    cause if i ship a new one from ebay or a hardware i'm only gonna "distress" it anyhoo.. lol
