Olds 403 motor and 350 trans

I have an Olds (BOP) 403 small block with turbo 350 trans for sale.

This is out of a 1977 Buick wagon I bought new. It has been in the family all this time. It has about 120K miles on it and has never been apart. The wagon had not been used much lately, so I decided to use the motor in my 55 T-bird. I pulled it out, and started to install it, but it is too wide to clear the steering, so I can't use it after all.

Originally, in another century, it was dyno tuned by Performance Associates, and the trans had a shift kit installed, as I pulled a 17' travel trailer.

When I pulled it out it was running fine, with just a bit of noise from one lifter when cold. The trans works fine too. It has been out of the car for about two months, and is located in Montclair Ca. You can drive in, and it will be loaded with a forklift. No shipping.

I am asking $500 for the set. It has a lot of miles left in it, use it as is, or rebuild at your discretion. All accessories are included, down to the air cleaner.

    Thanks,

    Rick

PS: before some bird lovers get too upset, my '55 is a basket case, with so many missing parts it would be too expensive to restore, so I am making a fun car out of it.....the 'Budget Bird'. Just picked up a 350 Chevy for it today.

I may have a need for that motor. I'll look into it and get back.
