I removed the 283 W/ 3 speed manual with overdrive, Installing a 396 W/ Muncie 4 speed. The oil pan is hitting the drag link between the pitman arm and the idler arm. Cannot find an original oil pan for this car. After market pans will not work. Do not want to modify the pan. Can anyone help me?

Did you try a moroso #710-20431 . It's notched for steerin' linkage clearance.
