Sixties Console, Fairlane, Galaxie, Merc

I was going to use this in my 64 Fairlane and decided to stay with a bench seat. My loss, your gain.

is this on the floor or between bucket seats console?

This sits between the buckets. It starts at the heater and even ducts the air to the back seat. Did you look at the picture link in the original post? I can post another or send you a bunch of pictures.
