Rebuilt SBC 882 Casting Street/Strip Heads
Up for sale are a pair of Chevy #882 casting cylinder heads. This casting is much thicker, durable casting than anything you'll find from the 80's thru present day. These heads have been completely rebuilt by American Cylinderhead of Vero Beach Florida, and no expense has been spared. The rebuild, including parts and machining cost me $650. These heads have been cleaned and bead blasted, magnafluxed, pressure tested, all gasket mating surfaces have been machined. The rocker studs were already "pinned" when I bought them so new rocker studs were installed and new pins were inserted. 1 piece stainless 1.94 intake and 1.52 exhaust valves were installed after a 3 angle valve job was performed. Heads were machined to accomodate up to a .600 lift cam. New performance springs were installed and seat pressure was set at 110 lbs. All bolt holes were "chased" to ensure perfect threads. These heads really are flawless. There is even the dye still on them! They were bolted on to a 355 c.i. Chevy project motor I was building, but it was never completed as I ran out of money. These heads would be great for any small block chevy motor from a stock 305 c.i. up to a nasty 350 or 400. I assure you you will not be disappointed! Asking $400+shipping, but make me an offer! Money Talks!
