383 for sale

It's an early to mid 80s block. Eagle forged crankshaft, Eagle forged I beam rods, forged Speedpro pistons, new high volume oil pump, flywheel, harmonic balancer, ARP main studs, all machine work done, most freeze plugs installed and the cam bearings have been installed. Over 1100 invested asking 700. The crankshaft is in but not torqued down. The pistons have been installed on the rods but haven't been put in the block yet. Full floating rist pins. I'm getting back into my four wheeler hobby. Located near Mobile Alabama. Will not ship. 251-454-4641 Eric

I'm in Pensacola area. Is this the 383 build you had a thread on camshafts and heads about? What are part numbers for the kit? If all bought seperately what are numbers for pistons, crank and rods? Why did you quit the build? Any machining issues? Did you ever get the compression ratio under control? I'm real interested but I have enough headaches of my own if you know what I mean. Give me the honest details and maybe we can help each other out.
