Don't feel bad Nick, I'm not that new....and I still don't see the obvious. I think the old posts are removed only when the server crashes..... (kidding) this is a great site. Hope you enjoy it.

Yeah, everyone has been guilty of posting on some thread that died a few years ago.........I do it about once a month.
Had to pull your chain a little though.

32 3 window
Hey guy's, I am currently building a 32 3 window, fiberglass body, new frame rails. I picked this body up from a lady whose husband was a tinkerer and never finished anything he started. when he died last year he had an unbelievable amount of projects (not that that is bad, I have my share too), really neat stuff. Back to the 32, he had removed the floor and discarded it as well as the drip rails for the rumble/trunk area. It had sat in his garage for about 10 years or so in that condition. When I met his wife through an add, she just wanted to get it out of the way, so she could park in the garage. She sold it to me for $300 bucks and I could not pass it up. I have so far bought the new floor, trans hump, rear drip rails, header panel, rad. shell, original louvered hood tops, new frame rails etc. .
I would like to pick up a stainless grill insert in new or as new condition at a reasonable price. I am retired on a small pension (and love every minute of it), so I have to be frugle on the spending side. If you have any parts you think I might be interested in give me a shout.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
