1919 CA license plates – a matching pair of unrestored porcelain plates.

White porcelain with blue lettering. Plate # 53187.

These are from the Percy Goodwin-family garage in the Hillcrest area – I personally removed them from the garage wall.

1916-series plates with 1919 tags. “Tag” is a red-painted embossed steel star, embossed “1919” and with stamped serial number.

The back of one plate says “MANUFACTURED BY California _______ Enameling Co. LOS ANGELES, CAL.”

Size: 13” x 4.5”

Condition = VG++
These are not chipped up, and have only a few blemishes. They are the best I’ve ever seen.
