    429 Cobra jet engine

I have a 429 Cobra Jet engine I'm selling. I live in San Diego, California. I had the heads "fluxed" and checked out ok. Heads are D0OE-R, the block is D0VE-A.

I just posted it yesterday. Some guy is selling a SCJ with a cracked block, I already talked to him. I was told by one of the guys at work to ask $3500.00 for it. So I guess I'll start at $3500.00 or best offer. If you know anyone, let me know. Is that the going price for a complete original CJ.

depends on the condition, if its running but not rebuilt then its about $1000, if its actually been recently rebuilt and such then yes your could get $3500 for it.... i'd love that engine for my 69 galaxie convertable, but i dont have that kind of money at the minute, i spun a bearing in my 66 mustang last night, so now i gotta tear that down and rebuild it, and i'm thinking of getting a 347 stroker kit for it

The D0OE-R heads alone are $1000.00 to $1500.00. So $1000.00 for a running CJ seems a bit low to me.
