FS: Gen. IV 454 rect. port heads and MATCHING intake
FOR SALE:
Generation IV 454 Rect. Port Heads and Matching GM HiRise Dual Plane Alum. Intake.
Very nice set. Not Junk. Non ported, perfect bolt holes and threads. No cracks or warpage. No machine work, stock.
Generation IV 454 Rect. Port Heads and Matching GM HiRise Dual Plane Alum. Intake, “perhaps the finest intake ever made for the big block” according to engine builder, Dennis Moore (page 145).
Magged, Cleaned with New Guides and Hardened Seats. Ready to go with your valves and springs.
Int.2.19 / Ext 1.88.
118cc chambers.
Head casting 14096188.
Intake casting 6269316.
I'm selling these for my Dad; he bought them a while back for his boat, but these heads are designed for high HP and high RPM applications, not a boat that turns 4500rpms at full throttle.
He has approx. $850 in them, so asking price is $650 OBO. (Make an offer!)
No idea what shipping will be... we'll cross that bridge when we come to it! (I'm guessing ~$100, though)
Please feel free to e-mail me with ANY questions or concerns you may have. Thanks!!

It's just the heads and intake, not a whole engine.
He's put them on E-bay now, and the bid for the heads ONLY is up to ~$400, and the intake has yet to be bid on (it's not coming up in searches for some reason), but has a starting price of $200.
Shipping will be $100 west of the Mississippi River and $50 east of it.
Sorry for the slow reply! My computer has been out of service for a bit. Thanks for you interest!
.Here is the link for the heads...
...and for the intake.Last edited by RSTSpeed; 12-13-2005 at 09:14 AM.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
