Chevy 305 engine and Powerglide Transmission
Just pulled the engine from the new project I picked up. Already have an engine and tranny I'm going to use so this combo is for sale. Motor is complete. Comes with the starter and fuel pump even. It's not running. The Power Glide has the aluminum casing. Comes with kickdown linkage. I do not have any pictures yet, but I'm sure that you will agree that it looks like a motor and tranny.
Motor casting Number: 355909
Head Number: 354434 (60cc heads)
Could not find any numbers on the powerglide.
Asking $400 or best offer.
You got to come pick it up, we'll hoist her into your truck. Located just north of Columbus, OH. PM me or email me if interested.
This will go on ebay early next week if there are no takers.Last edited by johnny knuckles; 03-22-2005 at 06:45 AM.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
