'68 428 CJ machined block for sale

For sale, 428 CJ block & rods. All machine work has been done. I bought the engine just after it was completed by a local engine shop.

The guy who was having it built, couldn't pay the bill so I paid the balance and got the engine. The machine work alone was over $1000. Align honing, boring the block .030, decking etc. I had the engine disassembled because I had intentions of building an engine with aluminum heads & forged pistons.

I sold the heads, used the crank for a 410 stroker in a 390 ( I should have just used the 428 in my Galaxie), but I wanted to put it in a 64 Mustang roadster project I've been working on for several years but problems fitting the trans & and exhaust leaves me with no alternative but to sell what is left. Price is $1800.
